Today we have made a short interview with our drummer! His name is Jacob. We encourage You to read this post!

In our band, I am a drummer. I've played this instrument for over 5 years. I wanted to show my talent, so I joined the group of musicians. While recording our song we had many trials. As my instrument is difficult to move, I had to practice in my garage. And it is precisely these practices that I liked best. It was an opportunity for a joint meeting and to show our talents. There were also a lot of fun.
During the recordig I learned many things. One of them was patience. There were many opportunities to train this. I think that the rest of the band will share my opinion. The second thing was preparation. Good preparation. Fate has not denyed us the opportunity to experience it. An especially good example was the situation in the studio. We were completely confused. Only after some time we got organised and proceeded with the recording.
As previously mentioned, the recording was a great opportunity to better integrate with each other and taking a dose of youthful fun. I can say unanimously that I would happily repeat such a project. I think a lot of people would agree with me. I do not think just about the people of our band.

Być może bywa niezauważalny, ale to dzięki niemu muzyka ma swój rytm. Jego rola w zespole jest bardzo ważna! Chodzi o perkusistę! Dzisiaj przygotowaliśmy dla Was krótką informację o Kubie:

Kuba - perkusista

W zespole pełnię rolę perkusisty. Gram na tym instrumencie od ponad 5 lat. Chciałem pokazać swój talent, więc zgłosiłem się do grupy muzyków. Podczas nagrywania naszego utworu odbyliśmy wiele prób. Jako że mój instrument trudno jest przenieść, pozostało nam urządzać próby u mnie
w garażu. I to właśnie te próby najbardziej mi się podobały. Była to okazja do wspólnego spotkania oraz pokazania naszych talentów. Nie brakowało też dobrej zabawy.
Podczas nagrywwania nauczyłem się wielu rzeczy. Jednym z nich była cierpliwość. Nie brakowało okazji aby ją trenować. Myślę,, że reszta zespołu podzieli moją opinię. Drugim elementem było przygotowanie. Dobre przygotowanie. Los nie szczędził nam okazji, abyśmy mogli tego doświadczyć. Szczególnie wyraźna była sytuacja w studio. Byliśmy kompletnie zdezorientowani. Dopiero po jakimś czasie ogarnęliśmy się i przystąpiliśmy do nagrywania.
Jak już wcześniej wspomniałem, nagrywanie było świetną okazją do lepszej integracji ze sobą oraz do zażycia młodzieńczej dawki dobrej zabawy. Jednogłośnie mogę stwierdzić, że z chęcią powtórzyłbym takie przedsięwzięcie. Myślę, że wiele osób zgodziłoby się ze mną. I nie myślę tutaj tylko o ludziach z naszego zespołu. :)

Let us invite you for a short interview with the main voices of our song: Maja Frejtag and Dawid Rajczakowski.


Promotor: What do you enjoy most while recording the disc, and why did you join the musical group?
Maja: I liked the joint practices. In addition to exercising our song, we sang a variety of other songs. I joined a musical group, because there I could show off my musical talent and could develop my hobby.
David: I joined the musical group, because for several years I'm practicing playing the guitar and singing, so I thought it was something for me. I most liked the fact that we managed to work together to create something, the effect of which is our song.
Q: What new things did you learn while recording your piece?
M: When recording songs mostly I learned about patience. I been to a  recording in the studio, but it always lasted 2-3 hours. This time it was 5 hours. Everyone had time to record their instrument. I recorded almost at the end, so a lot of time of our stay in the studio I spent waiting for my turn.
D: The most valuable thing I learned is to cooperate, so we were able to finish our song working on which was not an easy task.
Q: Would you take part in such an event again and why?
M: Yes, I'd love to repeat it, because it was the time spent with our classmates. Writing the melody and the text was a lot of fun. I also saw the talents of other people from the class.
D: I am keen on repeating something like this, because I think that our song went well, and I think we could write more.
Q: How would you rate how well you worked together?
M: My group has always been very cooperative. There were no conflicts between us. Everyone had the right to comment on our song or text. I liked the way we cooperated and I would love to do it again.
D: The work we did together was very successful. We were a harmonious and fairly well-organized group. Each group member contributed to the result of our work.

Zapraszam serdecznie na krótki wywiad z głównymi głosami naszej piosenki: Mają oraz Dawidem.

Maja

Promotor: Co najbardziej podobało Ci się podczas nagrywania płyty i dlaczego dołączyłaś/eś do grupy muzycznej?
Maja: Najbardziej podobały mi się wspólne próby muzyczne. Oprócz ćwiczenia, śpiewaliśmy różne inne piosenki. Dołączyłam do grupy muzycznej, ponieważ tam mogłam pokazać swoje uzdolnienia muzyczne i mogłam rozwijać swoje hobby.
Dawid: Dołączyłem do grupy muzycznej, ponieważ od kilku lat ćwiczę grę na gitarze oraz śpiew, przez co pomyślałem, że to coś dla mnie. Najbardziej podobało mi się to, że potrafiliśmy ze sobą razem tworzyć, efektem czego jest nasza piosenka.
P: Czego nowego nauczyłaś/eś się podczas nagrywania kawałka?
M: Podczas nagrywania piosenki nauczyłam się głównie cierpliwości. Już przedtem nagrywałam w studio, ale zawsze trwało to 2-3 godziny. Tym razem było to 5 godzin. Każdy miał czas, by nagrać swój instrument. Ja nagrywałam prawie na końcu, więc dużo czasu naszego pobytu w studio spędziłam czekając na moją kolej.
D: Najcenniejszą rzeczą, jaką nauczyłem się jest współpraca, dzięki czemu udało nam się ukończyć naszą piosenkę przy której praca nie była łatwym zadaniem.
P: Czy chciał(a)byś ponownie wziąć udział w takim wydarzeniu i dlaczego?
M: Tak, z wielką chęcią powtórzyłabym to, ponieważ był to czas spędzony z kolegami z klasy. Przy pisaniu melodii i tekstu było mnóstwo zabawy. Poznałam też talenty innych osób z klasy.
D: Powtórzyłbym to bardzo chętnie, ponieważ sądzę, że nasza piosenka udała się nam i myślę, że jesteśmy w stanie napisać ich więcej.
P: Jak oceniasz Waszą wspólną pracę?
M: Moja grupa była zawsze bardzo zgrana. Nie było między nami konfliktów. Każdy miał prawo wypowiedzieć się na temat naszego utworu bądź tekstu. Bardzo przyjemnie współpracowało mi się z nimi i chętnie bym to powtórzyła.
D: Nasza wspólna praca była bardzo udana. Byliśmy zgraną i dość dobrze zorganizowaną grupą. Każdy członek zespołu miał swój wkład w efekt naszej pracy.

We as artists

On our website once we touched on: Who is an artist in the twenty-first century? Included here is the thoughts of only one person, so if you have different views on this topic or would like to add something, pass on your thoughts. Twenty-first century Artist.

The artist must have their own inspiration and idea, because if more people are involved in the project and it has to start, set a priority, and come up with ideas, it usually ends up with most people being dissatisfied. There is nothing wrong in compromising ideas, although, when we have an idea, an image of how it will look when executed forms, and this is only our individual image. 

And what can an artist can do alone?  He would be able to do the project on his own, but he could also do it in a group. Then he knows what he's doing, and just neefs to properly execute according to the plan or go "all out" and invent during the creative process.







In the context of our project: the musicians have the biggest and also the most difficult challenge - composing. So, as I wrote above, I believe that the idea should arise in one's head and this idea should be developed, adding more and more new proposals. That's how we created the single Another Look. The same with artists: before them was the challenge of designing, their idea is based on the track - another example of an individual project- have a common theme and everyone is doing everything it can to add something. Our track Another Look shows how our class works together well, and that being an artist is a really difficult task. The challenge of my group, promotion, is to make the whole class' work and effort visible. I hope that we are going in the right direction :).

Na naszej stronie poruszyliśmy kiedyś temat : Kim jest artysta XXI wieku? Zawarte są tutaj przemyślenia tylko jednej osoby, więc jeśli macie inne poglądy na ten temat lub chcielibyście dodać coś od siebie, piszcie.      

Artysta XXI-go wieku
Twórca musi sam mieć inspirację i pomysł, ponieważ jeśli więcej osób pracuje przy danym projekcie i ma zacząć, wyznaczyć priorytet i wymyślić idee kończy się to najczęściej, tak, że większość osób jest niezadowolona. Nie ma nic złego w łączeniu pomysłów, jednak, kiedy zaczynamy w głowie rodzi nam się obraz, jak nasz projekt będzie wyglądał i to jest tylko nasz pomysł indywidualny.

A co artysta może zrobić sam? Może sam wykonać projekt, ale może to też zrobić w grupie. Wtedy już wiadomo, co się robi, wystarczy to prawidłowo zgodnie z zamysłem wykonać lub pójść „na całość” i wymyślać podczas procesu twórczego.

W kontekście naszego projektu: muzycy mają największe i zarazem najtrudniejsze zadanie- komponowanie. Tak, jak napisałam powyżej uważam, że idea powinna zrodzić się w jednej głowie i ten pomysł należy rozwijać, dodawać coraz to nowe propozycje. Właśnie tak powstał nasz singiel Another Look. Tak samo u plastyków przed nimi stanęło wyzwanie projektanta, ich pomysł został opracowany na podstawie utworu, - kolejny przykład indywidualnego projektu- mają wspólny temat i każdy robi wszystko, co może, aby dodać coś od siebie. Nasz utwór Another Look pokazuje, jak zgrana jest nasza klasa i, że bycie artystą to nie lada trudne zadanie. Wyzwaniem mojej grupy promocyjnej jest zrobienie z całej klasowej pracy i wysiłku hitu. Mam nadzieję, że idziemy w dobrym kierunku :).

We have our song!

Hello!

Our song is now recorded. In this post we will tell about the process of recording the song. Our artists were in the studio by eleven o'clock. The next half hour was  spent on connecting equipment, meddling with the recording options, and organization of work. The instruments were recorded separately and in a specific order. Recorded sounds of individual instruments were then put together.

First the percussion was recorded, which was played by Jakub Suchnicki. Then Paulina Ryszkowska was recorded playing on the keyboard. Another instrument was the guitar, which we heard played by Dawid Rajczakowski. Then the time for the bass, which was playing Mateusz Zatoński. Then the vocals were recorded. Maja Frejtag first sand her part, followed by Dawid Rajczakowski. The background voices included Magda Zatońska, Julia Wojtowicz and Monika Bednarska. At the end Hanna Olejniczak presented her talent, playing the violin. The recording took our artists more than five hours. They deserve a huge round of applause.
